ENERGY is pointless without a desire or direction guiding it!

We utilize our media platform to create content centered around story telling! We have an official podcast where we interview artists, entrepreneurs, athletes, musicians, and professionals, having them not only tell their stories but also list specific and actionable steps on how they are currently fighting to achieve their DESIRES and dreams. This provides a blue print for the public to follow if they have similar goals. It also helps to inspire those who are not aware of certain opportunities, career wise and socially!

1. Every new design concept we create for our products is given a symbolic meaning, with an important lesson attached to it! To emphasize this, new collections are promoted with a written short story or poem that secretly utilizes the design concept as the underlying message.
2. We expose our community to new opportunities in entrepreneurship, business, music, social influencing, academics, athletics, and artistry, while simultaneously promoting individuals and groups who are making a positive impact on the world!
3. We reinforce our supporters to take immediate action in pursuing their dreams and DESIRES, and help provide them with a blueprint to do so.
4. Our brand unites all people across the universe, who possess an ounce of positive passion, and DESIRE in their hearts, but are in search of the ENERGY and guidance needed to achieve them.

Our brand was officially started by the owner (Mark Guillory) in December of 2020. He was inspired to start this brand due to the constant chaos and fear that he observed during the pandemic. Mark graduated from Prairie View A&M University during the summer of 2020 and saw many of his fellow graduates left jobless, and some even having offers stripped away from them due to the rules of the lockdown.
Being stuck inside for many months gave him time to reflect on his life and also imagine his future, which was filled with uncertainty. He noticed during this time period that he had a lack of energy or drive to do anything. It wasn’t until he remembered his hobbies and passions from childhood that something clicked. Whether it be hobbies or passions, Mark realized that his energy and happiness correlated almost exactly to his desires/dreams and his ability at the time to work towards them. It gave him a greater sense of hope & motivation. Seeing that very few companies were hiring (during lockdown), he saw a unique and somewhat necessary opportunity to get his start in entrepreneurship.Though he wasn’t originally into fashion, he wanted to get his message out to the world in the best manner possible. He learned that what people wear helps them communicate and tell a story to the world. Through his brand “Desire is Energy” he has been inspiring thousands of people to put their energy towards their passions to give them the greatest satisfaction and best possible chance to achieve their goals. He’s also in the process of growing a great team of young entrepreneurs (along with his Marketing Manager) working beside him to help expand the brand and its impact.

ABOUT THE OWNER

A graduate of Prairie View A&M University, Mark Guillory is the founder and CEO of clothing brand and media platform “Desire is Energy” . Growing up in Houston, Tx he always had a creative mindset. From having a book published at the age of 10 years old to starting his own clothing brand in 2020, Mark utilizes his creativity to spread positivity and and information to the masses. He has been written about in articles such as Voyage Houston, and has been on TV shows such as Great Day Houston! He also uses his platform “Desire is Energy” as a media outlet to help artists, entrepreneurs, musicians, and anyone who is making a positive impact on the world, gain exposure through his brands podcast and debate show! He aims to show the world that “Desire is the Fire, that helps to inspire!”
